1. About SHURU
SHURU is an online shopping platform operating through shurubd.com.bd. We offer footwear, fashion, lifestyle, and other selected products for customers to browse, order, and purchase through our website and other authorized SHURU sales channels.
2. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for lawful personal shopping and related purposes. By using the website, you agree that you will not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Provide deliberately false or misleading information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, customer accounts, servers, or systems.
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the website.
- Use automated systems to abuse, overload, scrape, or disrupt the website without authorization.
- Impersonate another individual or organization.
- Attempt to place fraudulent orders or make unauthorized payments.
3. Customer Accounts
You may have the option to create a customer account on SHURU. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. If you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorization, please contact SHURU Customer Support promptly.
4. Product Information
We aim to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, prices, sizes, colors, specifications, measurements, and other relevant information about products offered through SHURU.
Actual product appearance may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, photography, screen settings, manufacturing variations, packaging updates, or other reasonable factors.
Customers are encouraged to review available size information, measurements, colors, descriptions, and other relevant product details before placing an order.
If a material error is discovered in a product description, price, or other important information, SHURU may correct the information and, where appropriate, contact customers whose orders may be affected.
5. Product Availability
All products, sizes, colors, and variations are subject to availability. Adding an item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that the product will remain available until the order is successfully placed and confirmed.
If an ordered product or variation becomes unavailable, we may contact you to offer an alternative, modify the order with your agreement, or cancel the affected item and arrange an appropriate refund where payment has already been received.
6. Prices and Charges
Product prices displayed on the website are generally shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges, exchange delivery charges, or other applicable charges may be displayed during checkout, stated on product or policy pages, or communicated before the relevant service is confirmed.
SHURU reserves the right to update product prices, promotional offers, discounts, delivery charges, and exchange charges. Changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and confirmed, except where there has been an obvious pricing or technical error.
7. Orders and Order Confirmation
Submitting an order through our website represents your request to purchase the selected products. An order may be subject to verification and confirmation before it is accepted for processing.
SHURU may contact you by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or another available communication method to verify an order, payment information, or delivery information where reasonably necessary.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including cases involving:
- Product or selected variation unavailability.
- Incorrect pricing or product information.
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.
- Invalid or incomplete customer information.
- Repeated refusal of confirmed Cash on Delivery orders.
- Technical or payment processing errors.
- Delivery locations that cannot reasonably be serviced.
8. Payment Methods
SHURU may offer payment methods including Cash on Delivery (COD), mobile financial services such as bKash or Nagad, and other payment methods displayed as available during checkout or communicated by SHURU.
The availability of a particular payment method may depend on the delivery location, order, product, payment provider, or other operational considerations.
Where payments are processed through a bank, mobile financial service provider, payment gateway, or other third-party payment service, the relevant provider’s terms and security procedures may also apply.
SHURU will never ask you to provide your card PIN, mobile banking PIN, password, or OTP through ordinary customer support communication.
9. Cash on Delivery and Advance Delivery Charge
Where Cash on Delivery (COD) is available, customers must provide accurate contact and delivery information and should be available to receive the order.
For orders delivered inside Dhaka, the normal delivery charge is currently ৳80 and full Cash on Delivery may be available according to the options displayed during checkout.
For orders delivered outside Dhaka, the normal delivery charge is currently ৳150 and must be paid in advance to confirm the order. The remaining product price may be paid by Cash on Delivery where available.
Customers should make advance payments only to payment accounts or methods officially displayed by SHURU or communicated through an authorized SHURU channel. Where requested, customers must provide accurate transaction information so that the payment can be verified.
10. Shipping and Delivery
SHURU uses third-party courier and logistics companies to deliver customer orders.
Estimated delivery times are provided as estimates and may vary depending on destination, product availability, courier operations, public holidays, weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number.
SHURU will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with delivery issues, but delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occur.
11. Order Cancellation and Refusal at Delivery
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact SHURU Customer Support as soon as possible.
Cancellation may generally be possible before an order has been dispatched or handed over to the courier.
If the order has already reached the customer and the customer refuses or returns it at the time of delivery because of preference, fit, or change of mind, where the product delivered is otherwise correct and undamaged, the following delivery-charge conditions apply:
- Inside Dhaka: The customer must pay the normal ৳80 delivery charge.
- Outside Dhaka: No additional delivery charge is required at that time because the normal ৳150 delivery charge was already paid in advance.
If a product has already been accepted by the customer, later return or exchange requests will be handled according to SHURU’s Return & Refund Policy.
12. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to SHURU’s Return & Refund Policy, including applicable eligibility conditions, time limits, delivery charges, and procedures.
If SHURU delivered the correct product and size ordered by the customer and an eligible exchange is approved, the customer will be responsible for the following exchange delivery charge:
- Inside Dhaka: ৳120
- Outside Dhaka: ৳200
If an exchange or return is required because SHURU supplied a wrong, damaged, or defective product, SHURU will bear the applicable return or replacement delivery cost, subject to reasonable verification.
13. Promotions and Discount Offers
SHURU may occasionally provide discounts, promotional codes, campaigns, special prices, or other offers.
Promotions may have specific eligibility requirements, validity periods, product restrictions, minimum order values, usage limits, or other conditions. Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may not be combined.
SHURU reserves the right to correct, suspend, or withdraw a promotion where there is an error, misuse, suspected fraud, or another reasonable operational reason.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the SHURU name, branding, website design, graphics, written content, and original materials appearing on the website are owned by or used with authorization by SHURU.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit, or misuse protected SHURU content without appropriate permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
